I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#21605) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Master's in Counselling Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Buddhist Psychology, and I'm a Certified AyuYoga Instructor (300-hour YTT). My practice is grounded in three
lineages I hold side by side: Vedic-yogic traditions, Buddhist psychology, and evidence-based Western counselling psychology. I believe that counselling work is relational and healing happens in the community. We move at your pace and my job is to help hold a container for you
to start a journey in which you begin to build a meaningful relationship with yourself.
Approach & Values
My work is rooted in feminist, decolonial, holistic, and anti-oppressive principles. As a long-time social justice activist, I see personal healing and collective liberation as inseparable — when one person reclaims their wholeness, it begins to dismantle the systems of power that asked them to be smaller in the first place. I work gently and collaboratively, holding space for the parts
of you that have been silenced, pathologized, or pushed to the margins. With BIPOC, queer, trans, neurodivergent, and disabled clients, I offer a relationship that honours lineage, body, story, and culture rather than asking you to set those things aside at the door. I support both
families, couples, and individuals in self-discovery and healing.
Therapeutic Modalities
I draw on somatic psychology, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed talk therapy, often weaving in breath, movement, and embodiment practices from my yoga and contemplative training. I often incorporate Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Gottmans Couples therapy, and Adlerian Therapy. I
believe the body is where so much of our story lives, and that lasting healing happens when the nervous system — not just the mind — is invited into the conversation. Rather than fit people
into a single model, I work integratively, collaboratively, and let the work follow the person in front of me. I also often will offer ADHD coaching support.
Areas of Focus
Addiction, Trauma and PTSD, racialized and intergenerational trauma, ADHD and
neurodivergence, anxiety and burnout, identity and belonging for women and gender-expansive
folks, immigrant and diaspora experiences, spiritual exploration, and the everyday weight of
living inside systems that weren't built with you in mind.
